Холандските готик класици Clan Of Xymox се завръщат в София за концерт на 21.03.2025.

Clan Of Xymox или Xymox са считани за пионери на darkwave жанра. През 1985г. независимият лейбъл 4AD издава едноименния, дебютен албум Clan Of
Xymox и групата е поканена да открива за Dead Can Dance. Следващите четири декади - концерти, албуми, търсения, релокация - превръщат Clan Of Xymox в една от най-влиятелните групи в готик и darkwave културата.
Ronny Moorings - основател и единствен постоянен член на групата, намира начин да е актуален и с новите поколения артисти и публика.
Exodus е новия 18 албум на групата. Третира мрачните теми за мъките и гнева от войната, безпътицата на света и ни кара да танцуваме за да продължим напред.

Специален гост на концерта в София са гръцките dark/cold wave минималисти Selofan, чиято борба с рак на гърдата отложи на два пъти дебюта им пред българска публика.

Гръцките dark/cold wave минималисти Selofan ще направят концерт в София на 12.04.2024.

Дуото на Joanna и Dimitris е основано през 2012. Към онзи момент DJ и звуков инженер те се срещат в атински клуб. Създават Selofan - любовна история вдъхновенна от тъмната естетика. Текстовете на различни езици са на Joanna, музиката с характерни бас линии, ритъм от дръм машина и отнесени мелодии на саксофон са дело на Dimitris. Експерименталното търсене е заложено в шестте им издадени албума, съчетано с импровизация и театрален елемент на живо. Дуото от Атина е със солиден статут сред новата вълна на post punk сцената.

Joanna и Dimitris са създатели и куратори на Fabrika Records. Лейбълът е дом на лидерите Lebanon Hanover и She Past Away, и на други обещаващи артисти.

Short Bio :
Clan of Xymox is a Dutch band formed in 1981 in Nijmegen, Netherlands. The band originally started under the name Xymox and was founded by Ronny Moorings. Their music is often classified as darkwave, gothic rock, and synth-pop, and they are known for their moody, atmospheric sound and introspective lyrics.

In 1983, the band released their self-titled debut album "Subsequent Pleasures" and gained attention in the emerging gothic music scene. The album featured a dark, ethereal sound that would become their signature style. The band's name was changed to Clan of Xymox after signing with the U.K. independent label 4AD.

In 1985, Clan of Xymox released their second album, "Clan of Xymox," which included the hit song "A Day." The album helped establish the band's reputation within the gothic / dark wave music scene and gained them a dedicated following.

Over the years, Clan of Xymox has experienced various lineup changes, with Ronny Moorings being the only constant member. The band has continued to release albums and tour regularly, maintaining a strong fan base around the world.

Selofan is a death-inspired love-story. The duo was formed 2012 in Athens. From the
beginning they created their own musical environment and every time they offer us a
glimpse into it, we become overwhelmed by the emotional intensity of their sound and words. In the last seven years they gave us five studio albums, each one of them possessing its own unique identity. Selofan avoid the comfort of settling in one sound style and just keep experimenting. Dreamy saxophone melodies find their way through strong drum machine beats, a new wave bass riff and powerful haunted female vocals, singing or storytelling in different languages and presenting themselves in such a theatrical way, that each live performance is emotionally overwhelming. Selofan have their own musical and aesthetical identity, underlined by their artwork and videos and are meanwhile a household name among the fans of the genre.
